Computer Products Unlimited Security

Are there any risks to consumers?

As with any credit card transactions, the consumer’s liability is limited. CPUI does not set clients up to accept credit card transactions without the client's having a Secure Server Digital ID from VeriSign installed. This ensures that all data traverses the internet securely.
How do I accept and transmit encrypted data?

CPUI requires that all merchants who want to accept credit cards transactions as payment for their products have a Secure Server Digital ID from VeriSign. This Digital ID, also known as a certificate, signs all transmitted data with a unique digital signature, which allows the receiving server to verify that the data is being sent legitimately and has not been tampered with or corrupted in transit.
